How I Got Loud
Founder of That Hormone Girl
Hormone Rebel. System Disruptor. Wellness Without the Fluff.
Let’s be honest: the healthcare system wasn’t built for women like us.
If you’ve ever been told your symptoms are “just part of being a woman,” that your labs are “normal” while your body screams otherwise, or that your only options are “the pill, weight loss, or deal with it”, you’re in the right place!
I’m Tracey Willingham.
Licensed Social Worker. Hormone rebel.
Unapologetically loud.
And I created That Hormone Girl to torch the outdated systems that keep folks in pain, confusion, and silence.
I Didn’t Always Know I’d Do This Work But I’ve Been Living It for Years.
After 24+ years working in social work and healthcare, I saw the pattern on repeat:
➡ Women getting dismissed.
➡ Symptoms brushed off.
➡ Band-aid solutions instead of real answers.
➡ Gaslighting dressed up as “standard care.”
And yeah, I’ve been on both sides.
As a patient trying to figure out why everything felt off.
As a provider expected to follow protocols that didn’t serve the people I cared for. Being diagnosed with PCOS with no real guidance or education.
As a woman who knew something had to change.
So I got loud.
I stopped waiting for the system to catch up and built my own damn playbook.
Who I Work With
Cis women, trans women, non-binary and gender-expansive folks who are done being told their pain is normal, their symptoms are a mystery, or their bodies are the problem.
If your period, mood, weight, or energy feel like a war zone, you’re overdue for support that actually makes sense.

You deserve to feel heard, supported, and in control of your own body.
No more silence. No more shrinking.
